Marketing and Activation Intern

Essential Functions:

  • Manage all calendar activities and scheduling and provide general administrative support.

  • Complete sales pitch minutes / debriefs used to boost articulation with client comms

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and complete expense reports

  • Manage Email/Telephone correspondence with clients and Centers of Influence (COI’s)

  • Set up targeted tracking systems to enhance relationship management with COI’s and or prospects.

  • Management of CRM (Smart Office) system for research, database and development of reports that assist marketing efforts.

  • Support with upgrades / builds of the Tech Recipes website

  • Coordinate and manage all special events and outreach including managing venue logistics, oversee execution of event, create invitations, advertisement/logo communication and ensure adherence to company branding and compliance. Track invitations and RSVP’s. Draft and send reminder emails.

  • Development of event management reporting and tracking within the CRM system.

  • Assist with the creation and/or reprints of marketing collateral materials and updates of the website and LinkedIn profiles.

  • Monitor, send, and reconcile invoicing / payment (accounts receivable / payable)

  • Assist with special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Solid computer skills including a strong proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.

  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management System software and Mailchimp (Preferred but not required)

  • Demonstrated excellence in communication skills, including writing and proof reading.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and requests.

  • Strong follow-through and ability to set and meet deadlines.

  • Strong proficiency in technology, ability to learn new software and problem solve quickly.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Communication or Marketing

  • A minimum of 1 years of experience in an administrative and/or marketing support capacity preferably from a holding company, agency, brand or consultancy.

The Founder -

A data-driven marketing veteran with 16+ years of experience on the agency, brand and publisher sides. He’s led Yield and Planning at WarnerMedia and transformed marketing for L’Oréal by building their first ever in-house programmatic team which increased ROI by 2X before. General Purpose -

Assists in enhancing the productivity and marketing plans and provide administrative support for day-to-day business development activities, special events and communication strategies. This position is a key ambassador both internally and externally.
